By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms, ensuring a clear and transparent partnership for exceptional cleaning services across London. This policy is effective as of January 1, 2024.

1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- "Company," "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Lemony Cleaning Limited, trading as Lemony Cleaning, registered in England and Wales.
- "Client," "You," "Your" refers to the person, firm, or corporate body for whom Lemony Cleaning Limited agrees to carry out cleaning services.
- "Service" refers to any cleaning service provided by Lemony Cleaning Limited.
- "Operative" refers to the individual(s) carrying out the cleaning service on behalf of Lemony Cleaning Limited.
2. Booking & Confirmation Policy
All bookings for services must be made in advance. A booking is considered confirmed once the Client receives a booking confirmation email from Lemony Cleaning Limited. This email will detail the date, time, service type, and estimated cost.
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
3. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment for services is due upon completion of the service. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
For certain specialist or large-scale projects, a deposit may be required in advance. This will be communicated clearly during the booking process.
Late payments may incur additional charges as per statutory regulations.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is as follows:
- More than 48 hours notice: No cancellation fee will be charged.
- Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost will apply.
- Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: The full service cost will be charged.

5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure our operatives can perform the service effectively and safely, the Client agrees to:
- Provide access to the property at the scheduled time.
- Ensure adequate water and electricity supply is available.
- Provide a safe working environment, free from hazards.
- Remove any valuables or fragile items from areas to be cleaned, or clearly instruct operatives on their handling.
- Inform Lemony Cleaning Limited of any pets or specific access instructions prior to the service.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in service delays or cancellation fees.
6. Our Satisfaction Guarantee & Complaints Procedure
Lemony Cleaning Limited is committed to providing outstanding cleaning services. If you are not entirely satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of completion.
We will endeavor to re-evaluate or re-perform the disputed area(s) of the service at no additional charge, provided the complaint is valid and made within the stipulated timeframe. Our complaints procedure involves an investigation and communication with the Client to reach a satisfactory resolution.
7. Liability & Insurance
Lemony Cleaning Limited carries comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. While we take utmost care, in the unlikely event of damage to property during the provision of our services, our liability is limited to the terms of our insurance policy.
- We are not liable for damage caused by faulty or unmaintained household equipment supplied by the Client.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
- Claims for damages must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence where possible.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.
Your data will be used solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services, managing bookings, and communicating with you.
9. Amendments to Terms
Lemony Cleaning Limited reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. We encourage Clients to review this page periodically for any updates.
Continued use of our services after any amendments signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
